The Koff Family Scholarship was created in 2021 in response to the racial injustice that marked the year 2020. Stacey Grum Koff, a 1987 graduate of UVA’s College of Arts and Sciences, and her family value education and hope this scholarship will enable a full-time student to attend UVA with fewer financial worries and less or no debt upon graduation. Incoming African American students from the state of Maryland are eligible to apply for this scholarship. The award for the 2021-2022 academic year is $10,000. The scholarship may be renewable up to 3 times through the recipient’s 4 years of undergraduate study.
