This scholarship was established in 2004, in memory of Richard H. Aulebach (Col ’52). Rick was a true Wahoo. At the University he was a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity and the track & field team. Rick was also a member of the Raven Society and lived on the Lawn. As an active alumnus, he served as co-founder of the Westchester/Fairfield Alumni Club Chapter, and served on the Alumni Association Board of Managers. In his retirement years, he officiated track & field events for the University. The annual scholarship will be awarded to an incoming first-year student in the College of Arts and Sciences from the Westchester/Fairfield Alumni Chapter region, with preference given to need and meaningful community service. Recipients must exhibit good character and a love for the University. This scholarship has additional essays.
