I forgot my password. Can you reset it for me?
If you have forgotten your password, click the “forgot password” link on the logged-out view of the scholarship website. Enter the email address you used to create your account. You will receive an email with a link to reset your password. If you continue to have problems, please email alumni-scholarships@virginia.edu.
Why am I getting a message that says, “This email address does not exist”?
There are a couple of reasons for this error message:
- If you are trying to enter your email on the “forgot password” page and get this error message, it means you have not yet created an account. Please create an account by clicking the register button.
- If you are sure that you have created an account, you may have mistyped your email address or used a different email to register. Please check that you have entered your email address correctly and/or you are using the same email address you used to create your account. If this doesn’t work, please email alumni-scholarships@virginia.edu for assistance.
Why can’t I submit my application?
You must complete all required questions in each section of your application. You can see your progress under the section header on the left-hand side of the application. There you will see either Not Started, In Progress or Completed. Click on that incomplete section and look for the question(s) highlighted in orange. In some cases, you will see a red warning message at the top of the form. Either way, if you are unable to submit the general application, look carefully for unanswered questions.
I am qualified for the ABC Scholarship, why isn’t it showing up in my “Applied Scholarship” list?
Please email us at alumni-scholarships@virginia.edu if you encounter this issue. We can look at your application and the criteria to help determine why the scholarship isn’t listed and confirm if you meet the criteria.
