30th Anniversary Celebration

The Young Alumni Council (YAC) was founded at the UVA Alumni Association in 1995 to support and advocate for the UVA young alumni community. YAC has incubated initiatives that have shaped the experiences of decades of alumni and developed leaders who have gone on to have widespread impact on the University.
Next spring, we will celebrate 30 incredible years with an all-YAC reunion with a weekend full of connection with Council members of all years, exciting University updates, and a fun-filled day at the Foxfield Races.
Registration will open later this summer. Until then, here are a few ways to get ready:
Book Your Accommodations
Charlottesville hotels and home rentals are in high demand in the spring, especially during Foxfield. Hotel blocks will be posted as they become available. We encourage you to book as early as possible to ensure availability and lowest rates.
Share Your Thoughts
We want your input! Please share any ideas for events, speakers, or activities that you’d like see at YAC’s 30th with the steering committee.
Spread the Word
Get in touch with fellow Council members from your time on YAC to let them know that this special celebration will take place April 25–27 in Charlottesville

A top priority for YAC this year is to close the YAC Endowment, which will ensure YAC will remain fully funded for years to come. Help us meet our $1,000,000 goal by donating now!
