Cancellations, Modifications, and Refunds
You can cancel your Juntos ticket and receive a full refund until the cancellation deadline: 11:59 p.m. ET on Friday, April 4.
To cancel or make changes to your ticket:
- Locate your Juntos ticket confirmation email. The sender is “UVA Alumni Association” and the subject line is “Registration Confirmed – Juntos 2025”
- Within the email, click “View or modify your ticket purchase by clicking here.”
- Enter your confirmation number when prompted (the confirmation number is located within your confirmation email).
- The system will automatically redirect you to your ticket confirmation page, where you can cancel or modify your ticket purchase.
If you can’t locate your ticket confirmation, email juntos@virginia.edu with your refund request by April 4. Refund requests received after the deadline will not be considered.
If you ordered a t-shirt with your ticket, it will be available for pick up when you check in at Juntos. If you would like to buy a t-shirt, the Alumni Association will have limited quantities available for purchase at check in. For help with your t-shirt order, email juntos@virginia.edu.
The UVA Alumni Association is committed to making Juntos an inclusive and accessible experience for everyone. When you purchase your ticket for Juntos, you’ll have the option on the registration form to indicate if you require any disability-related accommodations to successfully participate in the event(s). If you do require an accommodation, a member of our team will email you about your request.
However, the most direct way to access many Juntos events is by foot, often on uneven terrain, due to lack of parking/vehicular access immediately surrounding the Lawn. If you have a valid disabled permit or license plate displayed, you may park in an accessible parking space anywhere on Grounds—including spots along McCormick Rd. near the Lawn. Additionally, accessible University Transit buses will provide looping shuttle service to many Juntos vents.
Visit the Charlottesville Visitors Bureau website to review local options and make a reservation. We encourage alumni to book early, as accommodations are in high demand in the spring.
Check in for Juntos will take place at the Alumni Association. Here, you’ll receive your nametag, which serves as your ticket for the events you’ve registered to attend, and other information.
Check-in at the Alumni Association is open during the following hours:
- Friday, April 11, 12–7:30 p.m.
- Saturday, April 12, 9 a.m.–1 p.m.
During the hours above, you can reach an Alumni Association staff member at 434-243-9073.
Other things to know about check-in at the Alumni Association:
- Free parking is available for check-in. No permit is necessary.
- Yes, you can pick up your friends’ nametags for them—how nice of you!
Lost items will be returned to the Alumni Association for pick-up throughout the weekend.
The attire for all Juntos events is casual, and we encourage alumni to dress so that they feel comfortable and festive. Check out photos from Juntos 2023 for examples of the wide variety of attire!
Spring weather in Virginia is unpredictable, so please plan for a variety of weather scenarios. Additionally, indoor locations are heavily air-conditioned, please bring a jacket, shawl, or sweater to ensure you stay comfortable.
Paid parking will be available at the Central Grounds Garage via the ParkMobile app only. The University no longer utilizes parking attendants or kiosks to take payment. Please familiarize yourself with the app before coming back to Grounds if you plan to park in the Central Grounds Garage.
Most Juntos events take place from Friday morning through Sunday at noon. You can expect a diverse mix of social events, academic offerings featuring UVA faculty, staff, and alumni, open houses and tours, and moments to reconnect and celebrate with classmates. Check out the full schedule of events.

UVA Alerts is the comprehensive mass notification system that deploys emergency messages to warn people of an imminent threat, and advises them on actions to take. Anyone who wishes to receive UVA Alerts via text can opt-in by texting “UVA” to 226787.
The UVA Alumni Association works with the Office of Emergency Management to make decisions on whether to hold events outdoors or indoors, and these decisions often must be made as early as 9 a.m. for the entire day. This early call gives our partners (caterers, rental companies, University facilities, event staff, etc.) time to adjust their logistics and move materials for these large-scale events.
Please know that we want nothing more than to host all our events (especially El Picnic) in their original outdoor locations. However, the reality of spring in Virginia is that we must make the best decision we can with the information we have at the time we have it.
Inclement weather locations are listed in the description of each event. If the Alumni Association makes the decision to move an event, you will receive an email from the Alumni Association. If you do not receive an email, the event is taking place outdoors as scheduled.
