On August 5th, the UVA Club of the Virginia Peninsula will host its annual First Year Student Send-off at the home of UVA grads Dr. Cindy (CLAS ’80, MED ’84) and Dr. Jose Portal (CLAS ’80, MED ’84).
Please come and enjoy a causal picnic-styled event where new students can meet current students, alumni, parents and friends of the University. Come be a part of the tradition.
Questions? Please contact John Stout (CLAS ’86) at firstname.lastname@example.org
*Ford’s Colony has several entrances but only one that is accessible for non-residents. For those coming to the Student Send-off please program your GPS or get your directions in a two step process. First go to 100 John Pott Drive in Williamsburg, VA. There attendees will go through the Visitors Security gate. Just say that you are headed to the UVA party at the Portal’s house. Then set your GPS and head to 108 Harbourside, Williamsburg, VA. There will be orange and blue balloons along the way to mark your path. Also, when you arrive, guests need to park on one side of the street. Whether you park on Harbourside or a neighboring street, please be sure to park on the same side as existing parked cars. This helps with traffic flow through the neighborhood.*
