UVA Alumni, Parents, Friends, and Students in the Boston Area,
We invite you to attend our evening networking reception on Wednesday July 11 in Boston.
Join the University of Virginia for an evening of data science, biomedical engineering, healthcare and biotech – all while networking with fellow alums, employers, and UVA students interning in Boston this summer. Representatives from UVA Engineering, the UVA Career Center, and the Data Science Institute will be on hand to share current initiatives in these landscapes at UVA.
We’re thrilled to feature Philip E. Bourne, the Stephenson Chair of Data Science, Director of the Data Science Institute and Professor of Biomedical Engineering, School of Engineering & Applied Science, at our event. Philip will give remarks and there will be time for Q&A.
The reception is also a great way to connect with fellow alums working in various areas of Technology and Inclusion. Help UVA build bridges from Charlottesville to the Boston Area by:
• Posting jobs and internships
• Engaging as mentors to students
• Fostering connections with your employers
• Connecting with the broader alumni community
We hope you’ll join us to connect with fellow Hoos in these fields and foster connections across our communities. Appetizers and soda/beer/wine provided. Please RSVP by Tuesday, July 3rd, 2018.
