Emily Bardeen, MA - Director, Alumni Career Services. Emily founded ACS and returned in 2010 after serving as Director of U.Va. Faculty & Staff Career Services. She has also advised undergraduate and graduate students at University Career Services (UCS, formerly OCPP). She enjoyed a successful private sector career in high technology sales prior to a change to career and organizational consulting. Emily works with U.Va. alumni from all Schools, ages and experience levels. She holds degrees from Wiliam Smith College and Georgetown University. Her certifications include the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), Strong Interest Inventory, CCL Benchmarks Series, Bridges’ Transition Management and NTL Organization Development.
Liz Sprouse – Assistant Director and Senior Career Advisor. Liz joined Alumni Career Services in 2005; previously she worked in marketing and event management with the Alumni Association. Liz has primary responsibility and oversight for alumni career advising and related outreach, and she is frequently the advisor at Thursday Walk-ins. A Charlottesville native, Liz holds a degree from Virginia Tech and is a certified Global Career Development Facilitator, as well as a practitioner of the Strong Interest Inventory and Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI).
Mary Ann Episcopo Stumbaugh – Assistant Director, Programs & Information Services. Mary Ann joined Alumni Career Services in January, 2012. A double ‘Hoo, she is a ’87 and ’95 graduate of the School of Engineering. Mary Ann is the program manager for our popular Friday Forum Webinar series, our ACS webmaster and technical expert for providing you with the information you need in the most effective way.
