When are applications due?

  • Applications for the Fall 2018 semester are due by September 10th at 11:59 p.m. EST. Applicants will be notified with a final decision by September 20th at 11:59 p.m. EST.
  • Applications for the Spring 2019 semester are due by February 1st at 11:59 p.m. EST. Applicants will be notified with a final decision by February 11th at 11:59 p.m. EST.

If we don’t use all the money on the event, can our organization keep the rest?

  • Organizations will only be reimbursed for the event’s expenses, even if they are lower than what was anticipated. Any remaining money will go back into the Student Initiative Fund for the next semester.

Is there a limit to how many applications one organization can submit?

  • Organizations may submit up to two applications per semester. Each application must be for a different event.

Do I have to be part of a University organization to apply?
