Reciprocal Clubs

Enjoy all the benefits of your Yale Club membership – from guestrooms and concierge services to fine dining and special events – at elite clubs throughout the world. Virginia Club clubhouse members also enjoy the Yale Club’s network of carefully selected Reciprocal Clubs which includes the most popular destinations in 15 countries and 20 states.  From historic clubs in Boston, Chicago, and London to athletic clubs in Los Angeles and Seattle to country clubs in the Tri-State area and beyond, clubhouse membership connects UVA alumni to exclusive clubs and services when traveling for business or pleasure.

Reciprocal Club Use

Heading out of town and want to make use of our reciprocal club arrangement?  Letters of Introduction (LOI) are required at least one week in advance.  To request a letter, simply log into the Yale Club website and click on “Reciprocal Clubs”.  You can download the most up-to-date list and issue your own LOI. This new system will automatically generate a LOI and send it to the reciprocal club of your choice as well as to your personal email.  Please note: your arrangements should be made with the host club prior to requesting a LOI.
