Virtual Ready Hoos, Action!

This year, Hoos in Entertainment‘s third annual signature event Ready Hoos, Action! is going virtual!
Are you interested in a career in entertainment? Thinking about moving to New York from another city? Just graduated from UVA? Have you been a New Yorker for years?
Each year, Ready Hoos, Action! welcomes UVA alumni who are new to the city and connects them with Hoos already here in order to share guidance and advice about living in New York City and pursuing their field in entertainment. This time around, we will connect via Zoom, and Hoos around the country are invited to tune in.
Our 2020 guest speaker will be fellow Hoo, set designer Orit Jacoby Carroll (ARCH ’95), who will be joined in conversation with Kirk Martini, Professor, UVA School of Architecture. Orit’s sets include Waitress, Mean Girls, John Mulaney’s Kid Gorgeous at Radio City, and Saint Joan.
Registrants will receive the Zoom link via email prior to the event. We ask that participants register by 12:00 p.m. the day of the event.
