UVA alumna and sommelier Rosemary Walker (CLAS ’03) of Together-Ness will lead us in a virtual tasting of wines from the Finger Lakes region of New York.

Rosemary will guide us through a tasting of three styles from the Finger Lakes: Sparkling, Dry Riesling, and Cabernet Franc.

Throughout the casual guided tasting, she will discuss the Finger Lakes as a region, the styles of grapes grown in the area, and why the Finger Lakes is one of her favorite regions of winemaking.

Participants will be responsible for bringing their own wines to this virtual tasting. For a list of Rosemary’s recommended producers that distribute nationally within an accessible price range, see here.

Registrants will receive the Zoom link via email prior to the event. We ask that participants register by 12:00 p.m. the day of the event.
