Join the Virginia Club of New York for our first virtual book club! We’ll discuss New York Times bestseller Hidden Figures by UVA grad Margot Lee Shetterly (COMM ’91). Hidden Figures tells the true story of the black female mathematicians at NASA whose calculations helped fuel some of America’s greatest achievements in space. The book was later made into an award-winning film starring Taraji P. Henson, Octavia Spencer, and Janelle Monae.
