Looking for something artsy to do with UVA alums this Friday? Well, look no further! Studio (the Club’s arts affinity committee) has got you covered. We’re putting an NYC spin on the Charlottesville tradition of “First Fridays.” by starting a once a month UVA arts happy hour. Every first Friday of the month we’ll meet at a new museum, gallery, artist studio, etc for drinks and socializing. This month we will be meeting at the New York Historical Society. Two of the main exhibits on display are a photography exhibit called Pilgrimage by Annie Leibovitz and an exhibit by Stephen Somerstein with photos from the Selma to Montgomery Civil Rights March. All attendees with also have the opportunity to sketch in the gallery.
