This week we will play against the Virginia Tech Hokies! Usual time (5:00 pm) and  location (Central Park Great Lawn Field 1). Come on out to see how we fare, and join us for a post-game drink/snack.

Field 1 is the southwestern-most field of Central Park’s Great Lawn… closest to the Delacorte theater and the Wafels and Dinges Cart. You can locate it online here. 

Come to play, cheer us on, or even just relax and enjoy the park! Every year someone thinks he or she isn’t athletic enough to play — but this is for ALL Hoos and levels of play. Often we’ll go grab some post-game refreshments as well.

Everyone who plays should be a member of the Virginia Club. If your membership has lapsed, now’s the time to renew! The Club supplies not only the field permit but also the bats, bases, balls, spare mitts, and beer… not to mention other non-softball perks and event discounts. REGARDING WEATHER: in general, drizzle we play, downpour we don’t. There is a field hotline that will tell you if the fields are closed; dial 212-628-1036, extension 330 for the Great Lawn.
