Rotunda Painting Workshop

Missing the Rotunda? Itching to hone your painting skills? Join painter–and STUDIO co-chair–Clare Spooner for an evening of watercolor painting instruction. Clare will give architectural background on the Rotunda, demonstrate painting this beloved structure, and then instruct attendees as they make their own paintings in watercolor. Wine and materials included; group singing of the Good Old Song optional!
This event is held in conjunction with RevArt’s “The Memories That Won’t Fade Away” exhibition – please see below for more information. Please note that space is extremely limited and open to STUDIO members only until Tuesday, May 31, after which point sales will open to the general public.
Location will be emailed to registrants before the event. Proof of vaccination will be required to attend this event and will be checked at the door prior to entry.

About the exhibition: “The Memories Won’t Fade Away” is an exhibition curated by UVA alumnae Patti Pan and featuring three talented UVA alumnae artists, Clare Spooner, Brittany Fan, and Lauchlan Davis. The exhibition commemorates their time at UVA and in Charlottesville. It is on display at Charlottesville’s Guild Gallery (300 East Main St) from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays until July 15th.
