Join the Virginia Club of New York for its first-ever volunteer project with the Fairy Godmother Initiative. Volunteers will be helping young girls get ready for prom. Available activities include:

• Help with set-up and tear-down at the event 
• Check-in / Checkout attendants  
• Fairy Godmothers assist girls throughout the entire process of receiving a dress and accessories from FGI. Fairy Godmothers offer a friendly greeting and pleasant conversation while helping each girl find her perfect dress. 
• Dressing room attendants 
• Dressing room rack attendants re-hang and bag unselected dresses.
• Dress runners are in charge of maintaining organized and neat dressing rooms and dress racks, which includes picking dresses up off the floor, hanging them carefully, and returning them to their proper place on the racks.
• Dress rack supervisors make sure dresses that come back from the dressing room are rehung in the proper location.
• Shoe, jewelry, purse/glove, and cosmetics assistants
