In honor of the Oscars, join Book Club for a special “double feature,” where we read and watch One Night in Miami, a nominee for Best Adapted Screenplay. It is an award-winning stage play by Kemp Powers that was recently adapted for the screen.

One Night in Miami tells the story of four Black American icons on the brink of changing history. In addition to reading the play, attendees are also encouraged to watch the movie, which is available to stream on Amazon Prime.

Registrants will receive the Zoom link via email prior to the event. We ask that participants register by 12:00 p.m. the day of the event.

If you are able, we encourage you to consider purchasing this book from a local independent bookstore offering shipping or curbside pickup.
