Monticello Virtual Tour

April 15, 2021 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Join STUDIO for a private, virtual tour of the first floor of Monticello, Thomas Jefferson’s home. On the tour, a Monticello guide will lead you in real-time through the house, where they will discuss the architecture, art, and collections, using objects as a lens for discussing important issues such as Thomas Jefferson’s role as a nation builder and Monticello as a plantation powered by the labor of enslaved African Americans.

This event will last one hour, including time for your questions after the house tour.

A portion of the proceeds from the event will be donated to the Thomas Jefferson Foundation to support Monticello’s educational mission and its global vision to bring history forward into national and global dialogues.

Virginia Club Members may purchase up to two tickets at the member price. Not a member yet? Click here to join today!

Students and nonmembers in need of financial assistance should contact us at uvanyc@uvanyc.org to inquire about attending.

Registrants will be emailed a Zoom link prior to the event. We ask that participants register by 12:00 p.m. the day of the event.

Please note, this event will not be recorded.
