Hoos Hungry at the Stone Barns Center

June 9, 2018 @ 9:30 am - 5:30 pm

Join Hoos Hungry for a special summer outing to the Stone Barns Center for Food and Agriculture in Pocatino Hills, NY. Stone Barns is a farm and food laboratory known for learning and catalyzing a culture of healthy, sustainable, and informed eating. The 80-acre property, which was once part of a Rockefeller estate, is now a leader in innovative regenerative agricultural farming and animal husbandry and provides fresh produce and meat to Dan Barber‘s award-winning restaurant Blue Hill in NYC and at Stone Barns.
Visitors will be able to take a tour of the farm, taste seasonable vegetables grown on-site, and meet the animals who call the farm home. Tickets include transportation to and from Stone Barns from Grand Central Station. Lunch is not provided, but light snacks, baked goods, and fresh vegetable salads will be available for purchase at the Blue Hill Cafe and Grain Bar.
Tickets are $45.00 for members and $55.00 for non-members. Space is limited. Please click here to RSVP. Please note that this event is rain or shine, and all sales are final.
