The Virginia Club of New York is kicking off its first food affinity group; the UVaNYC Dining Club – ‘Hoos Hungry will venture into the heart of Chinatown for Dim Sum, a style of Cantonese food that is a hybrid between tapas and brunch. We’ll be enjoying bottomless tea and dozens of food carts filled with classics like pork buns, sesame rolls, shumai, shrimp dumplings and sampling some adventurous dishes like tofu pudding, turnip cakes, and chicken feet. Our inaugural dining experience will be 11:00am Sunday, September 7^th at Jin Fong, located at 20 Elizabeth Street (cross streets Canal Street and Elizabeth Street).
