Looking for something artsy to do with UVA alums this Friday? Well, look no further! Studio (the Club’s arts affinity committee) has got you covered. We’ve put an NYC spin on the Charlottesville tradition of “First Fridays.” by starting a once a month UVA arts happy hour. Every first Friday of the month we’ll meet at a new museum, gallery, artist studio, etc for drinks and socializing.

Join us this month for a visit to the Neue Galerie. We will be exploring its two exhibitions: Gustav Klimt and Adele Bloch-Bauer: The Woman in Gold and Russian Modernism: Cross-Currents of German and Russian Art 1907-1917. After our visit to the gallery we will venture into Central Park at around 7:30pm for a picnic! Attendees are encouraged to watch the film The Woman in Gold (2015) prior to the visit.
