Join us for our annual Media Panel moderated by Siva Vaidhyanathan, Robertson Professor of the Department of Media Studies at the University of Virginia. This year’s panel discussion will be about the impact of Facebook on the world of media and our personal relationships. Facebook is the market leader among social networks, currently sitting at 1.71 billion monthly active users.

Some of the questions the panelists will discuss include: how Facebook affects our relationships and segregates us among the like-minded; how Facebook both amplifies and limits deep deliberation about serious ideas; how Facebook is draining advertising money from traditional suppliers of journalistic content.
