Hoos Hungry
Hoos Hungry is the Virginia Club of New York’s food-centered community of interest. The group was formulated for those who enjoy experiencing NYC one bite at a time. Hoos Hungry seeks to bring Wahoos together through food-related events such as tastings, cooking classes, restaurant outings, and more. The committee strives to organize an event every other month. Hoos in Entertainment
The Hoos in Entertainment community engages UVA alumni interested in the Entertainment Industry, regardless of career level, to create a community that supports, collaborates, socializes, and networks with other UVA alumni, parents, and friends all in the Entertainment Business. Professionals that will benefit from the group include: actors, dancers, producers, technicians, news anchors, entertainment lawyers, writers, directors, agents, administration, public relations specialists, and many more. Dedicated to solving business problems, pooling expertise, sharing ideas, and connecting people, Hoos in Entrepreneurship is aimed at providing both practical help and moral support to UVA alumni entrepreneurs. If you run your own business or are working on starting one, this is the group for you. We encourage you to join the Hoos in Entrepreneurship LinkedIn group.
STUDIO
STUDIO is our arts affinity interest group. The committee is dedicated to connecting UVA alumni through arts events and opportunities, such as museum and gallery visits, field trips, and performance viewings. The WahooLaw Attorney Networking community is aimed at connecting alumni through industry-specific receptions or events for attorneys who earned an undergraduate or graduate degree from UVA.
