The Virginia Club of New York is excited to host its first-ever Diversity in STEM Panel in collaboration with UVA’s School of Engineering and Applied Science. Please join us at 6:30pm on Tuesday, October 17th for a conversation with NYC-based UVA alumni who are working in STEM at a variety of organizations and thought-leader and diversity expert, Dr. John Fitzgerald Gates, Associate Dean for Diversity and Inclusion at the E-School The panelists will discuss their role in promoting and supporting diversity in their companies and communities at large, how diversity and inclusion can be leveraged as tools and drivers of strategic growth and improve a wide array of institutional outcomes, and share their personal experiences in the STEM field.

- Quentin Washington ’04, Product Manager at DotDash and formerly at Time, Inc.
Doors at open at 6:30 PM for a pre-lecture reception with complimentary hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar. The program will begin at 7 PM.
