Through its grants, the Club seeks to make charitable investments that support: nonprofits in the NYC metro area that directly promote Virginia Club of New York efforts; scholarships for NYC metro area students to the University of Virginia; and Virginia Club of New York affinity groups.

Past recipients include Harlem Lacrosse and Leadership, the College Foundation of the University of Virginia (for the Kenneth G. Elzinga Professorship), the Fresh Air Fund, the Jefferson Scholars, and the Glen D. Kirwin 9/11 Scholarship.

The deadline for application submission is October 13th, 2017. Questions or inquiries may be forwarded to uvanyc@uvanyc.org. Applicants are expected to be notified by December 1st.
