2016 Harriman Cup

Come celebrate the 32nd Harriman Cup, the annual fundraiser and alumni polo match between the University of Virginia and Yale. We are excited to return to Bethpage State Park, which is the home of Polo at the Park, and has hosted several U.S. Open Golf Championships. Over 1,000 attendees from all over the Tri-State area attend every year to enjoy a day of competitive polo, tailgating, music and dancing. So, come out and cheer on the teams!

Alumni from ALL schools are welcome and invited to attend. Prizes will be awarded for the Best Hat, Best Outfit, and Best Tailgate.

The funds garnered from this year’s Harriman Cup will help rebuild Yale Polo and benefit the undergrad polo programs at both the University of Virginia and Yale.

EVENT SCHEDULE:
10:00AM – Gates Open
12:00PM – UVa vs Yale Alumni Polo Match
2:00PM – Awards Ceremony
2:30PM – Dance party
6:00PM – Last bus back to the LIRR train station leaves

LIRR trains leave every hour from Penn Station to Bethpage, which is only 50 minutes from Manhattan. Free shuttle buses will run continuously from 10am – 6:00pm between the Bethpage train station and the polo field.
