Paperless Post is reimagining invitations through design and technology. Our sophisticated online platform helps people create, send, and track cards and invitations with ease, bringing the efficiency and accessibility of the web to users who value the tradition of correspondence. Our distinctive, customizable designs can be sent online, on paper, or on our mobile app. To date, Paperless Post users have sent over 100 million cards and invitations for their most important life occasions.

We are looking for someone to lead one of our most important and robust marketing channels for driving sales and card sends. The Marketing Manager, Email, oversees the planning, execution, and analysis of email campaigns, working cross-functionally with designers, copywriters, merchandisers, and business development strategists. This role is a vital part of the product marketing team and the growth of our company. The Marketing Manager reports to the Director of Product Marketing.

About the job
Lead Paperless Post’s email marketing program, developing new communication strategies to improve customer retention and drive incremental sales through calendar triggered campaigns.
Ideate and execute seasonal campaign emails and triggered lifecycle communications, manage the cross-functional project workflow through a campaign calendar and creative briefs.
Develop and test hypotheses (e.g., variations on audience, promotions, messaging, visual assets, segmentation, personalization, targeting) that will elevate response to email campaigns.
Analyze email data (e.g., open rates, click-through rates, conversion), sharing insights and recommendations with internal stakeholders for ongoing optimization.
Facilitate updates to ESP integration with the help of product managers and developers.
Stay abreast of current best practices for email marketing.

About you
3-5 years experience managing e-commerce email marketing (especially with Sailthru), in-house or at an ESP.
Strong analytical skills and experience distilling high-level learnings that can be used to drive key business decisions.
Proven ability communicating with and building consensus among dynamic groups of stakeholders, including high-level managers.
Experience managing external vendors.
Superior organization and project coordination.
Solid foundation of basic HTML.
