A Bicentennial symposium presented by the University of Virginia and its President’s Commission on Slavery and the University, in partnership with the Slave Dwelling Project. The schedule of events includes the following:

– Opening Reception
– Panels & Presentations
– UVA African American Cemetery Commemoration
– Slave Dwelling Project Sleepover
– Field Trips to Monticello, Highland, and Montpelier

* Registration for all symposium events is free, except for the field trip to presidential homes on October 21st ($20 cost).
