We will be joined by Coy Barefoot, who is a best-selling author, media personality, and the Executive Producer for the Center for Media and Citizenship at the University of Virginia. Mr. Barefoot will share about “Thomas Jefferson’s Third Revolution”. This is a unique opportunity to explore the amazing story of the creation of the University of Virginia. Despite all the odds against him, and in the face of political enemies who literally conspired to oppose him, Thomas Jefferson managed to bring to life his dream of establishing a new kind of University that would serve as the insurance policy for the American Revolution.
Questions? Contact Josh Bennett (CLAS ’08) at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
We look forward to seeing you there!
