Please join the UVA Club of Atlanta to celebrate both the University’s Bicentennial and the 44th Annual Bull Roast Party!
On October 6, 1817, the cornerstone for Pavilion VII was laid in Charlottesville, officially establishing the University of Virginia. Nearly 200 years later, the University has grown into a world-renowned institution of higher learning, furthering the advancement of science, medicine, politics, technology, the arts and many other disciplines. We cordially invite you to celebrate this exciting occasion with us on Friday, October 6, 2017. We will be combining these festivities with the Bull Roast Party, an annual Atlanta tradition for the last four decades.
The event will be held at The Greystone, a beautiful venue in the heart of Piedmont Park. Dressy attire, please. The event will feature a catered buffet dinner from Jim ‘N Nick’s BBQ, cocktails, beer, and wine, and DJ entertainment. Additionally, we will be showing highlights from the festivities on Grounds and around the world as the UVA community comes together to celebrate the past 200 years.
Interested in sponsoring? Please contact Kristen Easterbrook (CLAS ’11) to learn more (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Pricing: Young Alumni (’12- ’17): $35, General Admission: $45. Prices will increase $10 at the door. Two drink tickets are included in the admission price, and a cash bar will be available thereafter.
We look forward to celebrating with you soon!
