Cavs Care: Volunteer with DCHoos at Capital Area Food Bank!

Up to 25 UVA alumni, friends, and family, are needed to help during Cavs Care month by volunteering at the Capital Area Food Bank. The specific work will depend on the amount of food donations that the food bank has on that particular day, but work could include sorting and packing donations to help get them to local families in need.
About the Food Bank:
The mission of the Capital Area Food Bank is to feed those who suffer from hunger in the Washington metro area by acquiring food and distributing it through its network of partner agencies; and educating, empowering and enlightening the community about the issues of hunger and nutrition.
