The Washington Nationals are hosting their 5th Annual UVA Day on Friday, June 14 when they take on the Arizona Diamondbacks! Join the UVA Club of Washington, DC and fellow alumni, students, parents, and fans as we cheer on former UVA baseball stars Ryan Zimmerman (CLAS ’06) and Sean Doolittle (CLAS ’08), Racing President Tom, and our Washington Nationals! Prior to the first pitch at 7:05 p.m., we’ll be having a pregame social at our partner bar Mission Navy-Yard, directly across the street from the stadium, where you can mingle with other DC Hoos over a quick bite and a drink, and prepare for the game by picking up some UVA swag.

Join us and show your Wahoo pride at Nationals Park and the Pre-Game Social at Mission! Game tickets are limited and can be purchased through the Nationals website using this UVA-exclusive link. Tickets to the pregame social are required for admission to the pregame event ($10 for adults, free for children 18 and under).

Pregame Social tickets include:
– Complimentary appetizers
– 1 complimentary drink ticket (adult tickets only)
– Access to drink specials
– UVA swag
Note: Tickets will be sold at the door of Mission day-of for $12 for adults, $5 for kids (based on capacity)

All tickets to UVA Day purchased through the Nationals include:
– Lower level game ticket
– Limited-edition New Era co-branded UVA/Nationals hat (new hat for 2019 only available through tickets to this game!)
– Postgame fireworks display for Fireworks Friday

The full information regarding University of Virginia Day, the hat pick-up, and other details will be emailed to all special ticket event buyers 24 hours prior to the game. Remember, game tickets must be purchased through the link above. Purchasing pre-game social tickets does not guarantee entry to the baseball game.

Hit one out of the park by donating school supplies in support of Horton’s Kids Operation Backpacks – a donation drive to collect over 200 durable backpacks and school supplies for kids in need.  For every $5 in supplies you donate, you’ll receive a chance to win cool UVA swag and prizes.
