RichWine was founded by two UVA alums: Kristen Gardner Beal (CLAS ’12) and Lance Lemon (CLAS ’11). RichWine is a boutique internet wine retailer located in the heart of Richmond Virginia whose purpose is to provide a carefully curated selection of unique, clean farmed wines to new patrons and wine lovers in our community.
Two lucky attendees will win a choice of a Richwine package (includes 2 Richwine Wine Glasses and tee-shirt) or a UVA watercolor (8in X 5in) painting by Jenny Pham (CLAS ’17). All attendees will also receive a discount code for a future Richwine purchase!
About Kristen and Lance:
Kristen Gardner Beal is a born and raised Virginia native, founder of VinGo Tours, co-founder of RichWine, and a 2012 graduate of the University of Virginia. Before wine, Kristen worked at the Department of State in Lima, Peru and later transitioned to finance at a global investment bank in New York. She works hard and travels harder, attributing world exploration as the foundation of her love for food, culture, gatherings and wine.
Lance Lemon is a Virginia native, actor, co-founder of Richwine, and a 2011 graduate of the University of Virginia. Lance moved to New York to continue his acting career and bar-tend at Jean Georges ABC Cocina and Kitchen. Cocina soon led him to a role as a wine sales rep for Frederick Wildman and Sons where Lance learned a tremendous amount about wine. He went on to curate, open, and manage two successful wine shops in BedStuy, Brooklyn: Wine – O and Liquid Assets. The experience defined his two life passions: acting and wine.
Zoom information to join will be emailed to registrants before the event.
We hope to see you there!
