After beating the Maryland Terrapins in the Super Regionals for the 2nd straight year, UVA is returning to the College World Series for the 3rd time in 5 years!

The UVA Club of Washington is hosting a watch party for our first game against the Arkansas Razorbacks on Saturday June 13th at Arlington Rooftop. The watch party will start at 2:30pm, and first pitch is scheduled for 3:00pm.

We will be promoting the Washington Nationals College Rivalry Day at the watch party. Join us on Saturday for an opportunity to win special Washington Nationals prizes in our raffle! And join us for the Nationals-Braves game on Wednesday, June 24 for the Nationals’ inaugural College Rivalry Day featuring the UVA-VT rivalry… great tickets are still available!

The UVA Club of Washington will host official watch parties at Arlington Rooftop for all of the College World Series games that are played on weekends and weekday nights. Here is the full schedule for the bracket round of the College World Series:

Saturday, June 13 at 3pm – Arkansas vs. Virginia
Saturday, June 13 at 8pm – Florida vs. Miami
Monday, June 15 at 3pm – Loser of Arkansas-Virginia vs. Loser of Florida-Miami (winner advances to play on Wednesday, and loser is eliminated)
Monday, June 15 at 8pm – Winner of Arkansas-Virginia vs. Winner of Florida-Miami (winner gets bye on Wednesday and advances to play on Friday, and loser advances to play on Wednesday)
Wednesday, June 17 at 8pm – Winner of Monday’s 3pm game vs. Loser of Monday’s 8pm game (winner advances to play on Friday, and loser is eliminated)
Friday, June 19 at 3pm – Winner of Monday’s 8pm game vs. Winner of Wednesday’s game (if the winner of Wednesday’s game loses, they are eliminated)
Saturday, June 20 at TBD (if necessary) – Same matchup as Friday’s game, if necessary (this game is only played if the winner of Wednesday’s game won on Friday – winner of this game advances to the CWS final and loser is eliminated)
