DESCRIPTION:Friday\, February 28th\n10:00am – 1:30pm\nHosted by the elements dc \n$10 \nDon’t let winter keep you inside! Spend the morning getting into your element\, out in the elements. The UVA Club of Washington\, DC invites all alumni\, parents\, and friends to join the Hoos 2.0 committee for a guided hike along the trails of the historic Tregaron Conservancy\, Klingle Valley Trail/Rock Creek Park & Soap Stone Tributary\, with the elements DC. founder and guide\, Margaret Rietano Our hike will conclude with a hearty lunch at Sfoglina Van Ness. Chef Fabio Trabocchi is the recipient of the Michelin Bib Gourmand designation for 2020. \nThe trail mileage is 4-6 miles. Trail conditions are single and double track; at times rugged footing; ascents & descents. Flanked (at times) by Rock Creek. Our hike will include an Elements Quiet Mile. \nFor the walk\, please dress for the weather. Running shoes or trail shoes recommended. Please bring your own water and water bottle. Our Elements Guide will provide sunblock and bug spray prior to the hike. \nHikers will be responsible for their own lunch tab. \nLocation Information: \nMeet at the gate to the Tregaron Conservancy\, Klingle Road Entrance. The gate is located just east of the intersection of Klingle and Woodley Roads\, NW. \nZone 3 parking is available on the side streets of the neighborhood. \nMetrorail: Metro Red Line to the Cleveland Park metro station.
