Girls on the Run is a life-changing, character development program for girls in 3rd through 8th grade. Girls on the Run combines training for a 5K (3.1 miles) with education on healthy living. They serve over 900 girls across all eight wards of DC each season (Fall & Spring)

At the Girls on the Run 5K event, volunteers will help distribute water to the runners on the course, assist along the course to keep it safe and clear for all runners, load gear and race materials, and help clean up following the race.
