Founder’s Day

April 12, 2012 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Metro: Red, Green, or Yellow lines to Gallery Place-Chinatown

Come out and celebrate Thomas Jefferson at Clyde’s! Dress is cocktail optional and we will have a cocktail reception with an open bar, including beer, wine and spirits!

Alexander “Sandy” Gilliam will be speaking at the event. Sandy currently serves as the University’s Protocol and History Officer and has previously served as Secretary to the Board of Trustees. He knows more about the University than anyone and his presentation promises to be worthy of Thomas Jefferson!

The night will also feature a silent auction. All proceeds go to the Rotunda Restoration Fund. Come out for a fun-filled night of celebrating Jefferson and UVA and help us keep his most recognizable building alive!  Some of the auction items include a hockey stick autographed by the Caps, UVA football helmet signed by Mike London, and plauques containing pieces of old UHall!

Please contact uvasocial@dchoos.org if you have questions.
