Metro-West Falls Church (Orange Line)

Contracting officials from the federal government and the government contracting community will engage in in wide-ranging discussions at the University of Virginia’s inaugural Federal Contracting Symposium on Thursday, September 26.

Keynoting the “Government and Industry Conversations” symposium will be an executive from the Procurement Executive Office of the Central Intelligence Agency. The second keynote will be delivered by Bob Tagg, VP at TASC. There will also be a panel discussion on developing strategic partnerships and process changes. Government and private sector acquisition/procurement people will be on the panel.

The symposium will get underway at 7:30 am with breakfast and networking at UVA’s Northern Virginia Academic Center located at the West Falls Church Metro. Following the keynotes and panel discussion will be small table discussions on reducing the cost of procurement. The event will conclude at 11:30 am. There is no charge to attend the symposium.
