Learn the art of making cider cocktails from Tory Pratt, Founder of Pratt Standard Cocktail Company!
All alumni, parents, and friends are invited to join the UVA Club of Washington, DC for a Cocktail Workshop at Capitol Cider House! This is a great chance to wind down with fellow Wahoos and learn about the art of creating cocktails. Your ticket not only includes two cider-based cocktails and a cider tasting, but also a deep dive into cocktail history and techniques like garnishing, shaking and stirring. This is a hands-on workshop where you’ll get to learn all the basic bar techniques necessary to make any cider cocktail, and even do a bit of shaking! The tutorial lasts an hour, with time to chat and sip afterwards.
You’ll walk away understanding how to make your own custom cocktails at home, too, as well as a few classics. Due to limited seating, please arrive as close to 6:00 p.m. as possible. Food and drink menus will also be available for purchase.
This is a 21+ event. Please drink responsibly!
