Cavs Care: Brainfood Volunteering

April 1, 2016 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

The UVA Club of Washington DC is thrilled to be volunteering with Brainfood during Cavs Care month. Brainfood is a non-profit youth development organization in Washington, DC. Using food as a tool, the organization builds life skills and promotes healthy living in a fun and safe environment.

Come out to help support their urban garden on K Street – you may have walked right by it while downtown and not even realized it was there! We will be helping their garden manager with anything from planting to weeding and composting – and best of all, learning about how the garden helps to support Brainfood’s incredible programs for youth.

Join us to spend time with fellow UVA alums and get your hands dirty for a great cause!
