The UVaClub of Washington, DC and the Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy invites you to a special joint event with Vanderbilt University. ProfessorsCraig Volden (Virginia) and Alan Wiseman (Vanderbilt) will be discussing their new book on the lawmaking effectiveness of individual members of Congress.

 

They have scored every member of the House of Representatives to determine who gets things done in Congress, why, with what effects, and have released these scores on their website. The talk will discuss the measures, main findings and implications for the future of effective policymaking in Congress.

 

Schedule

6:00 p.m. – 6:45 p.m. – Networking reception

6:45 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. – Main program with Q&A

7:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. – Post-event networking

 

There is no fee to attend, but advance registration is required.
