Australian hand pies at home with the Pie Guy 10/13

Tuesday, October 13
7:00pm – 8:30pm

Free

If you’re of the same mindset that Autumn is synonymous with pies, we have the perfect event for you! All alumni, parents, and friends are invited to join the UVA Club of Washington, DC and Keith Groomes Jr., owner of Charlottesville’s The Pie Guy, for a savory and sweet hand pie class! Roll up your sleeves and get ready to perfect your chicken/vegetarian pot pie and pumpkin pie, led by Keith. All attendees will receive a grocery list in advance of the event.

About the Owner and Business:

The Pie Guy was established in Charlottesville in 2013. Originally known for its Australian inspired pies, it is now known for its savory hand held pies and sides, and much more, with flavors that delight the palate and warm the heart. Keith’s pies are a staple on the UVA campus, local farmers market, and many festivals and events near and far. The owner is Keith Groomes Jr., a Charlottesville local originally hailing from Philadelphia. Keith brings his love of people, family, and friends to The Pie Guy experience by building on the flavors you know and love and adding new and diverse dishes that cater to all.

Zoom information to join will be emailed to registrants before the event.

We hope to see you there!
