DC Hoos: Front Row

All alumni, parents, and friends are invited to join the UVA Club of Washington, DC as DC Hoos: Front Row presents Melanie Adams (CLAS ’91), Director of the Smithsonian’s Anacostia Community Museum, active leader in the community, and passionate advocate for racial education equality. Melanie will share more about “Museums: A living conservation of history, artifacts, and culture”.

This session will offer a front row seat into the enriching dialogue that surrounds the importance of cultural institutions, with an emphasis on museums and how they are capturing this moment in time, followed by a special fireside chat.

The event will begin promptly at 6:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday August 5, 2020. We highly encourage you to sign in virtually at 5:50 p.m. because you will not want to miss a single moment of this program!

Zoom information to join will be emailed to registrants before the event.

We hope to see you there!
