About this Event
All alumni, parents, and friends are invited to join the UVA Club of Washington, DC as DC Hoos: Front Row presents Uzo Njoku (CLAS ’19). A DC based creator, Uzo’s art is visually stunning and exuberant with West African infused themes, juxtaposed figures, and vibrant patterns.
This captivating live session will offer a unique discussion engaging viewers on how she creates her prints and patterns, accompanied by a digital art demonstration. Uzo engages and inspires young artists through her visually captivating work and mentorship.
The event will begin promptly at 6:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday August 5, 2020. We highly encourage you to sign in virtually at 5:50 p.m. because you will not want to miss a single moment of this program!
