All alumni, parents, and friends are invited to join your closest Wahoo friends in our first ever fall boat cruise that just so happens to fall on the weekend before Halloween! On Friday, October 25th, the UVA Club of Washington, DC will take over the stylish double-decker Boomerang Party Yacht with a spread of appetizers, an open-bar, a DJ, and an indoor lounge. And best of all? Costumes are absolutely WELCOME!
Our voyage will begin with a happy hour on the Georgetown Waterfront at Tony & Joe’s (3000 K St. NW) starting at 8:00 p.m. Boarding will start at 9:45 p.m., so please plan to line up by Nick’s Riverside Grill between 9:30 p.m. – 9:40 p.m. This event is restricted to ages 21+. As seen on The Travel Channel, MTV’s The Real World, ABC, and more.
Register now before tickets run out! Early bird registration prices of $45 will end on Friday, October 4th, and ticket prices will increase to $55 until we sell out.
Directions:
– Via taxi/Uber/Lyft: Travel to Georgetown Waterfront. The boat will board from Nick’s Riverside Grill.
– Via Metro: From Foggy Bottom and Farragut North, take the Circulator bus toward Georgeown, exiting at the 31st Street stop.
– By car: There is plenty of parking in Georgetown, though meters are scarce on weekends, so you may need to enter a pay-garage. Plug in 3100 K St. NW, Washington, DC 20007.
