2:00pm-7:00pm: Caps on Tap Bar Crawl at 5 locations near Capital One Arena
4:00pm: UVA vs. Pitt tip-off
7:00pm: Puck drop, Capital One Arena
Come out for a day of fun with the DC Hoos, fellow alumni and friends to participate in the Caps on Tap Bar Crawl, root on UVA basketball as they take on Pittsburgh, and then head over to Capital One Arena (formerly the Verizon Center) for hockey game to root on Alex Ovechkin, Nicklas Backstrom, T.J. Oshie and the rest of the Washington Capitals as they take on the Buffalo Sabres!
Tickets will include entry to the Caps on Tap Bar Crawl ($3 specials at 5 bars throughout Chinatown), a Capitals t-shirt, and a ticket to the hockey game (100 level Standing Room Only). Participating bars include Iron Horse, Rocket Bar, Jackpot, Lucky Strike, and Bar Deco.
The UVA vs. Pitt game (4 pm tipoff) will be playing at Iron Horse and Rocket Bar, so be sure to stop by and cheer on the Hoos before the hockey game!
If you want to participate in ONLY the bar crawl (and the UVA basketball game watch at 4pm at Iron Horse!) then $5 can be paid at the door – and you still get drink specials all day at the 5 participating bars!
