Chris Matthews, with 15 years of industry experience, shares what happens in the resume review process and what employers are looking for. About Chris Matthews

Christopher Matthews (Col ’01) has fifteen years of Management, Business Development and Human Capital Solutions experience spanning over multiple industries and expertise, including Engineering, Architecture, IT, Construction, Power Generation & Delivery, Oil & Gas, Medical Device, Headquarters support functions, and Government Agency/ Integrators for services and product development in the U.S. and overseas .

Chris started as a recruiter with Aerotek and then advanced to a Business Development role where he was responsible for building two divisions in the DC Metropolitan area from the ground up. He is currently Director of Business Operation for Aerotek, Inc. responsible for the Washington, DC office, a 35 person team of Business Development, Recruiters and Field Support forecasted to do over $30 million in revenue this year. Aerotek is under the Allegis Group umbrella, which is the largest staffing firm in the United States and fourth largest in the world.

Born and raised in Fairfax, VA, Chris is 2001 graduate of the College. He resides in Arlington, VA with his wife of eleven years, Catherine, and two daughters, Madeline and Parker.
