Presenter Bio:
Barbara Kessler (Educ ’81, ’90) is Director of Human Resources with the University of Virginia’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies. Barbara holds a B.S. in Secondary Education and a M.Ed. in Counseling as well as a certificate in Human Resources Management, all from the University of Virginia. Her professional career includes extensive experience in career counseling, program development and training, human resources management, and workforce development initiatives. Barbara is a past chair of UVa’s general faculty council; she is also past chair of the Piedmont Workforce Network, a local workforce investment board, and is active in local and international non-profits.
