The UVA Alumni Association's Admission Liaison Program (ALP) is an optional preparatory resource for alumni families with high school sophomores and juniors thinking about the admission process. The ALP also serves alumni children interested in transferring into UVA from other colleges to begin either their second or third year at UVA. Entirely separate from the UVA Office of Undergraduate Admission, participation in the ALP is completely optional and has no bearing on a student's admission outcome.
The ALP provides quarterly communications for 10th and 11th graders, and biannual communications to students considering the transfer process. Seasonal virtual programs include Q&A Sessions and Legacy Link panels - where high school legacies can hear from current UVA legacies about the student experience — and other informational sessions.
If you are interested in receiving ALP's communications coordinated with your student’s age, please complete the following registration form. All emails will be sent simultaneously to parents and students, and by completing this form you authorize us to contact your student in this manner. You may reach out to us at ALP@virginia.edu at any time to update your contact information.
